This report focuses on end of life care for patients in a hospital setting, are their last wishes met and is their respect and dignity maintained at all times, without compromising the level of care. In our Inter-Professional Learning (IPL) seminar groups involving student nurses, child and mental health students, certain discussions took place in relating topics with respect and dignity. For instance, topics such as communication end of life care. Working in collaborations within the IPL groups are beneficial this is because it brings out an understanding to the role of other health professionals (Uys and Gwele, 2005). Within the IPL group a decision was made to select “End of life care” and focus on this particular topic.
