Ourmain aim is to change the conventional working of canteens, which would solve problems of majority of people associated with it.Kitchen sky is a canteen management application based on Android operating system.Many organizations /institutes provide canteen as an additional subsidized facility to their Employees/Students as a welfare measure.The usage of the canteen depends on many factors like centralize food distribution center with swift and simplicity in operationsthis canteen management system design provides a user friendly system that facilities quick and efficient operations to cover larger section of employees within a specified time. This system is paperless and has cashless transactions. This system is also compatible in an environment where multiple counters operate in a closed environment or at multiple location.

Problem definition:
Kitchen sky is a canteen management application based on Android operating system.Many organizations /institutes provide canteen as an additional subsidized facility to their Employees/Students as a welfare measure.The usage of the canteen depends on many factors like centralize food distribution center with swift and simplicity in operation.This canteen management system design provides a user friendly system that facilities quick and efficient operations to cover larger section of employees within a specified time.

1.2. Possible Solutions:
Time saving:Our canteen automation system is developed with a primary aim of “saving Time”. The customer can order the food and it is also efficient for canteen workers because this system takes lesser time as compared to phone based or manually based system.

No complication:Major complication part for Kitchen sky system is adding a product or managing products section. In our system, no complicated part is involved in managing section: we have taken immense care in this section and nullified all complications which make this system accurate and unique.

Cost Effective: It’s a cheaper. You don’t have to purchase multiple copies of software to install on multiple computers. Multiple copies often require you to pay multiple licensing fees, but since you aren’t actually purchasing any software with an online system that’s not a concern.

Security: Online system are just as secure. Most online kitchen sky system program allow you to create multiple user accounts with various levels of access. Your data is stored on secure, protected servers that features firewalls and other online security programs.

Project Overview:
A complete Kitchen sky system makes canteen workers monitor overall day to day business analytics more accurately with an ease. It increases the presence of canteen fascinates core customers towards your food business leading to increased sales.

By bringing all necessities in one place kitchen sky system benefits both the user as well as the canteen owner smartly. Ultimately all business operation will be mad easier and single handed with the required inbuilt features. As soon as order get placed you will be notified immediately so that you can start order processing.

Title: Operationalization of food consumption
The EFCOSUM(European food consumption survey methods) project aims at harmonizing food consumption survey
In European countries within the perspective of an overall public health monitoring program. Harmonization implies the need for a common framework of procedure and tools,that are applicable and feasible in all potenitially interested countries.This paper provides an overview of the Internet of Things with emphasis on enabling technologies, protocols and application issues. The Internet of things is the inter-networking of physical devices, vehicles (also referred to as “connected devices” and “smart devices”), buildings, and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity that enable these objects to collect and exchange data. The Mainly us es the connectivity of devices system and services that beyond the machine to machine communication. Internet of thing defined the as the infrastructure of the information society. The main objective of this paper is to provide an overview of Internet of Things, architectures, and vital technologies and their usages in our daily life.

The term Internet of Things has been around for quite a few years. In this scenario, it is gaining ground with the evolution of advanced wireless technology. The basic idea of this concept is the presence of a variety of objects – such as RFID, NFC, sensors, actuators, mobile phones. In this technology the RFID is the most important concept and it is necessary for internet of things. Different technologies in market like RFID, machine to machine communication, vehicle to vehicle communication etc are implemented using IOT. The main problem of IOT is facing scenario of security the potential Hackers who always eager to attack. The ability to code and track objects has allowed companies to become more efficient, speed up processes, reduce error, prevent theft, and incorporate complex and flexible organizational systems through . The “Internet of Things” refers to the coding and networking of everyday objects and things to render them individually machine-readable and traceable on the Internet Much existing content in the Internet of Things has been created through coded RFID tags
Today food is being implemented everywhere which is of human concern like Smart city, smart environment, security and emergencies, smart business process, smart agriculture, domestic and home automation and healthcare. In this paper, we presented the technologies and its specification that can be used to make Internet of Things a reality. After that, we state some good examples where Internet of Things is of great use, and at last we discuss some open issues which are still to be solved before the wide acceptance of this technology.

Survey Paper 2:
Title: Online food ordering market
Online food market is an important matter in urban environments during the transition to fully autonomous driving. Many literature has been generated in the recent years approaching different pattern recognition strategies. In this paper we present a survey summarizing relevant works in the field of detection of both suspended and supported “online food market”. This survey organizes different methods highlighting main research areas in the computer vision field.

Although fully autonomous driving is a possible scenario in the future, tra?c lights are active tools used to control the tra?c in both urban and motorway scenarios. However, both for the current advances in autonomous vehicle and a support for the human-driving, the tra?c light detection still remain an active challenge. Another use of tra?c light recognition, is to help blind pedestrian or peo-
ple with some visual impairment: these systems are often developed on mobile device. In 1 is presented a system architecture based on a mobile-cloud computing. In such a paper, the authors shared promising results obtained with the system working at real-time. Another work is shown in 27. Authors focused their work on pedestrian lights and they developed a prototype implemented
on a Nokia N95 mobile phone. Finally, in 14 a software developed in a similar mobile phone was prototyped in order to be used by blind people. Authors claim that the system was tested with blind volunteer, which guarantee the successful of such method. Additional I2V communication can also be considered. In 19 a wireless network that periodically broadcasts tra?c lights scheduling information is proposed. Tra?c lights lamps can also be used as a light road-to-vehicle communication device. In 26 an high speed camera is used to allow communication between tra?c lights and vehicles. However tra?c light detection has been traditionally solved with cameras, so many interesting approaches have been published in the pattern recognition ?eld. Issues related to interpretation of suspended and supported tra?c lights are the same, but suspended tra?c lights detection is slightly more a?ected by lighting problems. Some of the most novel contributions have been summarized along this paper. This paper classi?es the di?erent works into the following issues: features extraction according to color or shape properties, classi?ers and prior information through digital maps. An analysis of these phases to deal with tra?c light recognition problems is presented in the following sections.

Although the fully autonomous vehicles will not need the presence of tra?c light in future smart cities, detection and interpretation of tra?c lights meaning remains an active problem for industries and research groups. The majority of the current advanced driver assistance system related to tra?c light detection are based on computer vision. In this work we have reviewed the main recently advances published in this ?eld, highlighting phases common to most approaches.

Survey Paper 3:
Title: Microbiological Aspects of ozone application in food
This paper addresses the Internet of Things. Main enabling factor of this promising paradigm is the integration of several technologies and communications solutions. Identification and tracking technologies, wired and wireless sensor and actuator networks, enhanced communication protocols, and distributed intelligence for smart objects are just the most relevant. As one can easily imagine, any serious contribution to the advance of the Internet of Things must necessarily be the result of synergetic activities conducted in different fields of knowledge, such as telecommunications, informatics, electronics and social science. In such a complex scenario, this survey is directed to those who want to approach this complex discipline and contribute to its development. Different visions of this Internet of Things paradigm are reported and enabling technologies reviewed. What emerges is that still major issues shall be faced by the research community. The most relevant among them are addressed in details.

The ozone is a novel paradigm that is rapidly gaining ground in the scenario of modern food. The basic idea of this concept is the pervasive presence around us of a variety of things or objects – such as Radio-Frequency tags, sensors, actuators, mobile phones, etc. – which, through unique addressing schemes, are able to interact with each other and cooperate with their neighbors to reach common goals . Unquestionably, the main strength of the idea is the high impact it will have on several aspects of everyday-life and behavior of potential users. From the point of view of a private user, the most obvious effects of the IoT introduction will be visible in both working and domestic ?elds. In this context, domotics, assisted living, e-health, enhanced learning are only a few examples of possible application scenarios in which the new paradigm will play a leading role in the near future. Similarly, from the perspective of business users, the most apparent consequences will be equally visible in ?elds such as, automation and industrial manufacturing, logistics, business/process management, intelligent transportation of people and goods. By starting from the considerations above, it should not be surprising that IoT is included by the US National Intelligence Council in the list of six ”Disruptive Civil Technologies” with potential impacts on US national power . NIC foresees that ”by 2025 Internet nodes may reside in everyday things – food packages, furniture, paper documents, and more”. It highlights future opportunities that will arise, starting from the idea that ”popular demand combined with technology advances could drive widespread diffusion of an Internet of Things .that could, like the present Internet, contribute invariably to economic development”. The possible threats deriving from a widespread adoption of such a technology are also stressed. Indeed, it is emphasized that ”to the extent that everyday objects become information security risks, the could distribute those risks far more widely than the Internet has to date”.

The Internet has changed drastically the way we live, moving interactions between people at a virtual level in several contexts spanning from the professional life to social relationships. The has the potential to add a new dimension to this process by enabling communications with and among smart objects, thus leading to the vision of ”anytime, anywhere, anymedia, anything” communications. To this purpose, we observe that the should be considered as part of the overall Internet of the future, which is likely to be dramatically different from the Internet we use today. In fact, it is clear that the current Internet paradigm, which supports and has been built around host-to-host communications, is now a limiting factor for the current use of the Internet. It has become clear that Internet is mostly used for the publishing and retrieving of information and therefore, information should be the focus of communication and networking solutions. This leads to the concept of data-centric networks, which has been investigated only recently.

Nowadays people don’t have much time to spend in canteen by just there and waiting for the waiter to take their order. Many customer visits the canteen in their lunch break and recess so they have limited time to eat and return to their respective office and colleges. So this software helps them to save time and order food whenever they want without calling the waiter again and again,
Manual system involves paper work in the form of maintaining various files and manual maintaining critical information in the files and manuals if full of risk and a tedious process. Including a framework showing how to apply internet technology progressively as skills and confidence grow the project demonstrates the route from adapting materials to developing an online environment.

This kitchen sky system enables the end users to register online , read and select the food from e-menu card and order food online by just selecting the food that the user want to have using android application. The results after selecting the food from the E-menu card will directly appear in the screen near the chef who is going to cook the food for you. The system is the combination of android as well as web application.
Computers have become part of the life for accessing almost any kind of information. Life in the 21st century is full of technological advancement and in this technological age it is very difficult for any organization to survive without utilizing technology. The world wide web contributes greatly to the creation of an ever increasing global information database. It could also be used as a mechanism to share information within an enterprise.

In today’s age of fast food and take out many canteen have chosen to focus on quick preparation and speedy delivery of orders rather than offering a rich dining experience. Until very recently all of these delivery orders were placed to the waiters or over the phone, but there are many disadvantages to this system, including the inconvenience of the customer needing to have a physical copy of the menu , lack of a visual confirmation that the order was placed correctly, and the necessity for the canteen to have an employee answering the phone and taking orders. What we propose is a kitchen sky system , which is technique of orderings foods online applicable in any food delivery industry.

This provide instance visual confirmation of what was selected and ensure that items in the order are in fact what was intended. The main advantage of this system is that greatly simplifies the ordering process for both the customer visits the ordering web page they are presented with an interactive and up-to-date menu complete with all available option and dynamically adjusting prices based on the selected options. After making a selection the item is then added to their order which the customer can review the details of at any time before checking out.

This system also greatly lightens the load on the canteen’s end as the entire process of taking orders is automated. Once an order is placed on the webpage it is entered into the database and then retrieved in pretty much real time by a desktop application on the canteen’s end. Within this application all items on the canteen. This allows canteen employee to quickly go through the orders as they are placed and produce the necessary item with minimal delay and confusion.
